My grandfather was Morris Glaser, from Riga Latvia. I know that he did not go through Ellis Island when he immigrated. He was sponsored by his older brothers Louis and Max. He spelled it Maurice, but it is Morris on my fathers Birth certificate. He lived in Manhattten and Brooklyn, NY and had two children, David (my father) and Barbara. He came from a family of 14 children. I only know the names of a few of his siblings, Louis, Max, Phillip, Joe, Bertha, Edna (the only member of that generation I met). Most of the family lived in the Cincinnati, OH area.
