I´m looking for descendants of this man, who visited last month (Oct. 2003) Dunzweiler, asking for members of the Glaser family. I was informed too late. Dunzweiler is a small village in the Palatinate, former Bavaria. All Glasers in this village were descendants of Johann Peter Glaser (died 1785), a miller, and his wife Anna Maria Christina Dick. They had two grandsons named Theobald. Presumable both emigrated to America (1835 and 1847). My family were the last Glasers living in Dunzweiler (now near Frankfurt, Germany). Does somebody knows, which family was searching for their roots in our village? They have son, who is in the Army, somewhere in Germany at the moment.
It would be interesting to hear, what happend to the american part of our family. If you know something or want further information, please contact. I have a book in which are listed all families of the village Dunzweiler, not only Glasers, till 1815.
