Major General Henry Gladwin, of Stubbing Court, Derby, was my great-great-great grandfather. He had four daughters: Dorothy, who married Joshua Jebb; Mary, who married Baldwin Duppa Duppa of Hollingbourne House, Kent (my direct ancestor); Harriot and Ellen Susanna. Mary, Harriot and Ellen are buried at Hollingbourne churchayard.
Major General Gladwin hat a very interesting story; he was chief-officier at Fort Detroit while the Pontiacīs Conspiracy.
I have something more about all the story and will be very happy to get more information.
