Hi Marisa
Of the other names you mention, I have noticed the names Palombo, Capocci and Panetta appear often in Picinisco , but I have found no connection to them. That's not to say there isn't.
The other names I have found associated with my line are Izzi, Capaldi, Iaconelli or Jaconelli, Porrelli, Vettese, Rossi, Valente.
You don't need to go to Italy to do research, that the last step.
How have you acquired your info?
Are you familiar with the Mormon " Family History centers.
The mormons have microfilmed most of the births, marriages and deaths for Picinisco for the period 1809 to 1865. That is where I got my information from. Most major cities in USA and Canada have a history center where you can go and order the films from Salt lake , then when they arrive you can go to the center and view the films.
I only looked at births and marriages and extracted anythng to do with the name Gizzi and Pelosi.
There is also on the internet the Ellis Island records of Immigration for 1892 to 1924. Lots of fun there and lots of errors in spelling as well.
