The birthdates you have for William and Margaret are a close match. Depending on when the census was taken, they could match.
The names of the children: Sylvestor, when was he born? the other names don't match for my William and Margaret, but the names you have could be middle names for them.
The name Newton, sounds like there could be a connection, William had a brother named Newton, All I have are the names of the children of William and Margaret found on the 1850, Lowndes co. Mississippi census, there could have been other children born after this census.
William Givens, in the 1850 Lowndes Co. Mississippi Census, (age 23), pg 56B with wife
Margaret

Also have a William Givens, listed as serving in the 24th Mississippi, Infantry, Company D, out of Caledonia, Lowndes co. Mississippi. Could be the same William married to Margaret. My great great grandfather, Zenas Givens was a brother to William Givens, and served in this same company. They were known as the Caledonia Rifles (Riflers).
My great great grandfather, Zenas Givens, ended up in, Scotland, ARkansas, Van Buren Co.
I don't know what happened to William and his family or where they ended up living.
If you think there is a connection, I have more information on some of the siblings of William and his parents.
