I am doing research on the DeVoto family from Caregli, Bozonasca, Italy. My ancestors settled in Louisville, Kentucky. In doing my research, I have come in contact with a Lucille Renfroe who is doing research on the DeVoto's and the Giusti's. Her ancestor, Angelo DeVoto was from Caregli, Italy and resided in Louisville. He married a Rosa Botto and died in Louisville sometime in the early 1860's. Soon after his death, Rosa (Botto) DeVoto remarried a Paul Giusti at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, Kentucky. They later moved to Memphis and raised their family there. If anyone has any information on these people, or would like to know more, I would be glad to let Lucille know about it.
