That would be very helpful. There might be two Jacob Myers families in Kentucky both related. One would be Jacob Myers the surveyor. He worked for Christopher Gist and the Ohio Company headed by Lord Fairfax. I believe Lord Fairfax's grandfather was a General in Oliver Cromwell's army.
Jacob Myers' son William Myers married Caroline Grundy who was a niece of Felix Grundy. Felix Grundy was the Attorney General for President Martin Van Buren. President Martin Van Buren's other Attorney General was Benjamin Franklin Butler who claims to be a descendent of Oliver Cromwell. His son William Allan Butler was the Attorney for the Myers family of Major Mordecai Myers and Charlotte Bailey. Charlotte Bailey was a cousin to Hanna Hoes. Hannna Hoes was the wife of President Martin Van Buren.
The other Jacob Myers maybe the Iron Works designer. I know nothing of that family.
Then again they maybe one in the same. Both seem to have died around 1814.
