I am not related to these people and have no further information on them. I just returned from a trip to Union Co., SC, and was given a printout of information on local cemeteries. I was actually only interested in the Cane Spring MM Quaker Cemetery, but was also given a printout that just stated "Quaker," which included the following: S.G. (Gist?), 1794 Gist, Mrs. Sarah, died 8-6-1794 (age 38 yrs.), wife of William Gist, daughter of Francis & Hannah Fincher Gist, Septimus, 2-11-1793 - 11-9-1793 Gist, Louise, died 4-6-1830 (age 18 yrs.) mate consort of W.H. Gist, daughter of George & Tabitha Bowen, left her infant daughter 11 days of (blank) who has been deprived maternal guardianship and care. She was a devoted affectionate wife and kind and feeling Mother. Gist, Col. Francis Fencher, died 1-11-1819 (age 40 yrs.) son of William & Sarah Gist Gist, Mrs. Ann, died 3-11-1820 (age 40 yrs.) wife of Col. Frances F. Gist, daughter of James & Ann Stewart. I hope this information will be helpful to someone. I was not given the title page of the book, but the library in Union Co. (Carnegie) might be able to give additional information.
