Sarah Jane Hudson (daughter of Richard Franklin Hudson and Rebecca York) born 06 Dec 1826 in Jackson Co. died 02 Oct 1914 in Union Co., Il., married John Gist 31 Jul 1851 in TN. They had 8 or 9 children.
John was born about 1824 and died abt 1879 in Jackson TN. I found him on the 1860 and 1870 Census in Jackson Co., TN. His birth place is shown as KY in 1860 and TN in 1870. I also found several references to his estate on the Jackson CO. boards. I haven't been able to find him on the 1850 census.
Does anyone have information about John's parents or siblings?
