Virginia, I think where Oscar is buried Vian. One of your cousin [Roberta Girty Shelton live in NM] went to the Girty reunion in Pa. in June. But your line and My wife line wasn't much. But had a good time.
Do you know who was Snake Father? My wife in is as follows
Martin Girty b-1901, Thomas b-1872, Buck b-abt 1846, Jack Girty b-abt1800/1820, His father George Jr b-1772, George Sr. b-1745,
Simon Girty b-abt 1710/1715 Ireland.
George Sr wife was Delaware Indian.Jack was in Okla 1832 by records, and his family was cherokee, from Jack to my wife I have everything that I know is right. I believe Jack is the father of Snake, and then I fine where is wife is Wilson Girty Wife. I my self believe Snake is a half brother to Wilson,You see Wilson and Buck was brothers.
Snake age falls in correct. There was another Simon in the trading post in 1832 ,but he died in 1832 in Vian. His land was SW of Vian and the Girty is under Hiway 64 and on record in Okla City. The first Girty is Simon from Ireland andHis sons was Thomas,Simon, James, George.and a half brother John Turner. See if you Can help me out on Snake.
