Dear Jean-François,

I much enjoyed reading your response to my posting and wish to express my sincere thanks.

Your message was the most thorough account of Girardot history I have read to-date. Among other things, you have solved the mystery of our family's Spanish involvement.

May I also compliment you on your English. (I wish my French was comparable.)

Yes, I would like to exchange family trees.
Unfortunately, my Girardot family tree is handwritten, having been prepared by my uncle, James Girardot Kellett, some 15 years ago.

However, as soon as possible, I will purchase the proper software and create a Gedcom file. (My understanding is that all leading genealogical software is capable of creating and reading Gedcom files.) We can then exchange files.

Best Regards and Many Thanks,

Paul Kellett
