Hi my name is Doug and I was wondering if anyone out there had info on the Girardot family that lived on Baker street? in London England during the 1850s(?) and 1860s and later. The dad's name was Gustav(e) Girardot he was a portrait painter (I do not know his wife's name. His children were: Etienne Girardot born 1856 in London England, Alfred Girardot, Hypatia Girardot, Isabel(le) Girardot, Douglas Girardot. All I know is that Etienne Girardot became a stage star and later acted in silent and talking films. I checked out his list of films at the IMDB. The girls also bacame stage stars in New York. My Great-great grandfather, Alfred Girardot, came to America as a teen on a sailing vessel (1876 or later?) much to the dismay of his parents. He became a farmer and married and we are the result! hee hee! At least I did inherit the ability to paint portraits! ;-) Thanks a bunch...Doug
