Sorry it took so long to reply to your message relative to the Girardots of Ohio.
For whatits worth Dr Adolph Girardot was the son of Theodule Girardot of Windsor Ontariowhich made him my father's uncle. Dr Girardot was a member of the Ohio National Guard who was called to active duty in 1917. He went to France with the AEF and was serously injured by being gassed. When he returned home he was seriously ill and virtually dead. His wife, Constance Hackel, had to raise their family and she did so in an admirable way. Their youngest son, Norman, became a VP of Coca Cola and just died about 3 years ago.
