I'm searching for the parents and grandparents of Sarah E. Gipson/Gibson AND the parents and grandparents of J H Briant. Sarah married J H (either John Henry or James Henry) Briant or Bryant. It's my understanding that Sarah E. Gipson and her family were from TN. She was born abt. 1850. The 1900 Simpson Co. KY Census has John Gibson, b. 1817 and his wife Sally, b. 1825. My grandfather William and his brother Henry are in the home, listed as grandsons. Supposedly, JH Briant and Sarah E. Gipson were born in TN as well. I find John Gipson in my grandfather's home again in the 1910 Allen Co. KY census. Who was John Gipson's son,father of Sarah? I do find a John Gipson in White Co. and one in Greene Co. TN Does anyone have any of these names in your family trees? Thank you in advance.
