No Randolph Co., NC untill 1790; the State Census of NC 1784-1787 doesnot list a Stephen/Steven GIPSON/GIBSON.

North Carolina Wills: 1665-1900 doesnot list any for a STEVEN/STEPHEN-GIPSON/GIBSON

The David GIBSON[not GIPSON] is the one died in 1808 per the North Carolina Wills book by Thornton W. Mitchell Revised Editon. There was one I couldn't get. That maybe the one missing from the files; NR LISTED FOR IT IS INCORRECT. So what is the correct nr to find it...

I'm still cking my files. The first name of MAJOR is associated with the GIBSON line. So I will do somemore looking under GIPSON as I wondered what happened to him . If I am lucky maybe Sat. 26th June.
