You may email me gpreas@swbell.net. Yes, he was my Hero, he had taken me shopping 1944, for toys. I was only 5 years, He had trained at Camp Maxey Texas, rented a room from my parents, and married my Aunt Mary Frances Hargrove. He was killed was June, 17, 1944, in France.

Being from NYC, he was taken with our Southern Cooking and talking.
