NOTES: HERBITZHEIM("HERSTOM", a very small town in ALSACE ,(was Germany is
now FRANCE) usually only had a few hundred people living there at any one
time for centuries. (Have history of town.

NOTE: It was not unusual for cousins to marry cousins, even 1st cousins. It
is known that CATHERINE ZIMMER had a sister EVE / EVA ELISABETH who married
Peter GEISKOPF in France where he died, and she came to this country with
her children. They had a brother PETER GEISKOPF who came to this country
with his wife Anna Elizabeth BAUER and their eight children. Apolonia BAUER,
wife of Jean G. from Austria. and Peter, the brother of Catherine ZIMMER,
and his wife Anna Elizabeth BAUER may be related; also, Eve/Eva Elizabeth
the sister of Catherine ZIMMER married Peter GEISKOPF and Catherine ZIMMER
G.'s daughter Helen1831 married Eve/Eva's son Gregory GEISKOPF; possibly
but, unknown in this case: MULLER means the same as the English MILLER so it
could have been Americanized; and, Catherine's mother Marie MULLER may be
the aunt of John MILLER who married Catherine's daughter
