I am trying to trace my grandfather's family but not having much luck. They resided in Wainfleet, Ontario Canada, but did have relatives that they visited in Buffalo NY. I have the following information.
Michael Ginther born in Germany, east of Berlin??, married Charlotte ?
According to the 1880 census, Michael was born in Germany abt 1835 and Charlotte was born in Ontario abt 1845.
Childred were EZRA URIEL GINTHER born February 08, 1869 in Gainsborough ON, and died December 11, 1942 in Wainfleet, ON. He married MINNETTA (NETTIE) ROSIPPI SUNDY December 11, 1894 in Gainsborough Twp, ON, daughter of JOHN SUNDY and MARY BOOKER. She was born June 28, 1874, and died March 11, 1966 in Wainfleet, ON.
listed with two brother,
Wesley (born abt 1864) and Willliam (born abt 1867)and a sister Annie who married an Harrington.
My grandfather was JOHN ORLIN2 GINTHER, b. March 17, 1895, Wainfleet ON; d. October 1972, Wainfleet twp ON.
Brother to MICHAEL GINTHER, b. Abt. 1896; d. June 30, 1903.
PEARL GINTHER, b. 1896; d. 1981, Wainfleet twp ON.
VERA MARGUERITE GINTHER, b. May 05, 1902, Wainfleet Twp Lincoln Co ON; d. January 16, 1993, Dunnville, ON.
FRANKLIN MILTON GINTHER, b. February 28, 1903; d. September 14, 1984, Wainfleet twp ON.
