This could be John. The girls married in McLean county, Illinois and spent the rest of their lives here. They are also buried here. John did go to Iowa. I think I have either his death certificate or his obit in our files at the Historical Society.
The problem is, I can't find any of them in the 1850 census with the parents. By 1860 they are here in McLean county, minus the parents. Our county marriage licenses don't give names of parents until late 1878, and the girls all married earlier than that.
