Hi,
I am related to the Gilstraps from South Carolina. I don't know if they are the same or not. They are from up that way. My grandmother was Pearl Susan Gilstrap and she married John McDonald. They were from Seneca S.C. I am still researching,
but I think that her father was William Gilstrap Jr. and he married Mary Cleveland. William Gilstrap Sr. married Lavina Hamilton. This is where I am stuck right now, But I am determined to find out more. I do know that my grandmother had alot of sisters. I also have info on them if you want it.
