MY GREAT GRANDFATHER JOHN GILLSTRAP HAD A SISTER NAMED MARTHA JANE WHO MARRIED WILLIAM H. BROWN. STORY GOES THAT THEY WERE ORPHANS LIVING IN NORTH CAROLINA AND RAN AWAY TO GEORGIA. LATER I WAS TOLD THEY CAME TO AMERICUS, GA. I ALSO FOUND MARTHA JANE IN THE 1860 CENSUS I DON'T REMEMBER A
JOHN. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY ARE THE SAME, BUT IT IS A POSSIBILITY.
