I have Ernest (spelled Earnest), b 1877 in Lynn Ks and his line back to our earliest known Gilstrap ancestor. Peter Gilstrap Sr.
I have his parents as Louis (spelled Lewis) and Harriet Fisher. Both parents, died in (1926 & 1930) Eugene Oregon.
Nothing in the files about his descendants and very llimited information about his siblings. According to my records he had seven brothers and one sister.
I this the one ???
If so then Ernest is my 4th cousin 1 generation removed. Our common ancestor is Peter Gilstrap Jr.
I would appreciate any information you have about his siblings and his descendants so that I can update the master files.
I had corresponded( July 0f 2005) with a descendant of Otto Thomas, brother of Ernest and she said that she had four generation of information for me but I do not remember if she ever sent me anything or not.
