Thanks for your reply Marcus.

I would think that the John you are talking about would have to be the John I am looking for. I have no death info on Sarah except the headstone. This headstone is fairly new and I haven't found out who put it there. Maybe they got the death date wrong. Maybe it was 1905 instead of 1915??? I can't locate Sarah or her mother Violetta in the 1900 or 1910 census. Do you happen to know where your John was in either of these 2 census years?
