Lewis Gilson 1825 or1827, Carriage maker in VT

I am looking for info on Lewis Gilson or his wife Ruth A. Hadlock maybe Ruth Prescott. They were the parents of James, William, Nellie, Lizzie,(all Gilson) and Rachel Anne Prescott.

Lewis G. Gilson was a carriage maker. He built a carriage shop in Peacham Vermont in 1855. He was born 1825-1827. I have 2 of the children's birth records listing him from Barnston, Canada East. The last record I have for him is in Kansas (census record, not a death record). He and his wife were not living together at 1880. She died in Boston. The child's birth record lists Barnet VT for the mother's place of birth but the town clerk said they don't have a record for her.
