JARVIS - BAILEY -- At the residence of the bride's parents, in this city, on Tuesday evening, the 21st inst., MR. WILL JARVIS of Burlington to MISS AMELIA L. BAILEY, Rev. J.W. Todd officiating.
BEST - GILSON -- on Thursday evening, the 23d inst., at the residence of the bride's parents in Fairfield, Iowa, MR. ED. T. BEST, of the Leader, of this city, to MISS MAY GILSON, daughter of Prof. R.G. Gilson.
SOLOMON - THORPE -- At the residence of the bride's parents, in this city, by Dr. Trewartha, D.D., on Thursday evening, the 23d inst., MR. ANTHONY SOLOMON to MISS MARIA B. THORPE, all of this city.
MR. and MRS. JARVIS and MR. and MRS. SOLOMON, have the thanks of the Patriot office for fine samples of wedding cake, and the whole trio of couples have our very best wishes for happiness and success.
