I was recently reading over my great grandfather's obituary from 1933 and found that one "Senator Kennedy" attended his funeral. At first I thought it might be JFK's grandfather, Sen. Partick J. Kennedy but he died in 1929...
My great grandfather, Owen Gilsenan, lived and died in Oldcastle Co. Meath, Ireland.
I was just wondering if perhaps anyone knew anything about this event or could even tell me what Kennedy was senator at this time...Thanks.
