All my Gilsenans have a direct link to co meath Milltown,Cortown CoMeath,my father was born in 1935,and is still alive, his father was Christopher Gilsenan buried in Cortown Cemetery along with Winafred Gilsenan his wife who died in the late 1970's aged in her late 80's so she would have been born in 1800's They had 5 boys 3 still alive 4 out of the five of the boys married and had, very large families who in turn had lots of children hence so many Gilsenans living in the one area which is not far from Dublin.
