Henry died in Wilkes County on 31 July 1842.Lavina died some time after the 1850 census and before the 1860 census was taken.
Henry's will was written on 12 March 1841 and proven in open Court during the February 1843 Session of the Wilkes County, NC Court.Lavina is named in this will to receive all of Henry's land, stock and farming utinsels and property of every description.
After the death or intermarriage (remarriage) of Lavina, whatever is left is to be sold and equally divided amongst Henry's children, "seven in number."
