I'm a descendant of Samuel Gilpin (1694-1767) the eldest son of Joseph and Hannah, and the older brother of your Sarah Gilpin Cook....and I agree with your lineage of the original Richard de Guylpyn. Some sources think Thomas of "Mill Hill" born in 1586 was the son of Bernard and Dorothy Airey Gilpin, but as Bernard was born in 1583, that is obviously impossible. The Henry Dilworth Gilpin you mention was the brother of my great grandfather, Richard Arthington Gilpin. We must be some kind of distant cousins......
