Early handwritten information leads me to research PENN, as a possible surname related to our first GILPIN Emigrant. Granted, "Penn Pedigree," as it was written with an aged and shaking hand, could mean Pennsylvania. We're all searching for elusive Ancestors, and I'm very interested in hearing from anyone researching GILPIN, who also finds the PENN surname in your records.
