draPorter Morning all, lillian Porter Carrol, sister of Bessie Mae Porter Gilpin,resided in New York for a number of year's, where she was a member of the cast of{The Good Earth] for 3 and 1/2 years.She also resided in Hollywood for a number of year's,dureing which time she appeared in [The Wizard Of Oz]Her hubsand Bill passed away in 1956.She returned to Gainesville, Tx.in 1975.She was born 10-13-19010r 10-31-1901 ,Died 7-12-1984. buried in Fairview cemetery, Gainesville Tx. She also lived in Wichita, Kansas in 1947. If any of you Gilpin's know more about her , please reply. She was my Daughter's great aunt, Bessie mae Porter Gilpin is and was my daughter [Freda June Gilpin Smith'] Grandma.Other children of Benjimin Porter and Callie Wells are, John Henry Porter,dob 12-11-1892, dod is 12-29-1909, Charles Everett Porter dob 9-28-1894, dod 6-22-1981 ,birth place Kentucky. Bessie Mae Porter Gilpin, dob-5-2-1896,dod12-27-1985.She was born in Belton, Tx.Fairview cemetrey. Audra Porter, dob-11-17-1897, dod,1-1-1937,.. Benjimin Franklin Porter Jr. dob-12-19-1889- dod 1976, he was married # 1 Vida, #2 Mabel Bailey, 11-22-1934. Chico Tx. Sam Porter dob-12-19-1899, dod, 12-19-1899, William Lafayette Porter, dob 10-13-1901,or 10-31-1901, dod 4-7-1952, gainesville, Tx. Fairview cem. Lillian Maureen Porter, dob-10-13-1901,0r 10-31-1901, she was twin to William. Sarah Jane Porter, dob- 6-25-1904, dod 3-6-1993 Boulder ,Co. Nola Bee Porter dob 3-13-1908, dod 8-6-1998, Ola Lee Porter, dob 3-13-1908,dod 7-16-1996, Berthel Ruth Porter, dob 12-29-1909 ,dod 3-1993 # 1 marriage- Harold L. Watson #2 was Carl McCracken 2-10-1928. Woodrow Wilson Porter, dob 9-11-1911,dod 10-14-1990, Dorothy Loreta Porter dob-3-16-1913, no death record. Jay Morgan Porter, dob 3-17-1916, dod 3-29-1916, may be buried at Sivell's Bend texas Red River Cemetery.. 15 children in all.
