Joyce, sorry to be so long getting back to you, I sorry but no I don't have his birthdate. The only thing I know is that my grandmother was born in 1894 and her husband John Wesley was supposedly 17 to 20 years older than she. Using ss#'s, I checked for John Gilpins and turned up with actually only one, he was born in 1877 with would make him 17 years older. It gave Keyport NJ as his last residence and his death as 1971. I found the only funeral home in keysport and emailed them, asking for information on him. They are currently checking on this, said it would probably take a few weeks before they get back to me. Anyway, that's where I'm at now.
