Searching for Samuel GILPIN. Ancestry published in Utah Geneological and Historical Magazine, Vol. VIII, October 1933; pages 145, 146, 148; first emigrant named in this issue. Anyone familiar with this publication or with Samuel GILPIN, probable spouse, Ruth A. LOFFER born Sept. 1843 in OH, married July 2, 1863 in IN. Ruth is daughter of Christian LOFFER and Nancy; Samuel GILPIN likely parent of Charles Solomon, born 1863 in Kokomo, Howard Co., IN and William C. GILPIN, born Oct. 22, 1867 in Mound City, Hope or Holt Co., MO. please respond.
