Searching for descendants of John and Sarah Gilpin who were born in England and Scotland. Their son, George W. Gilpin was b. Oct. 18, 1830, Brooke Co., WV; m. Dec. 13, 1855, Margaret Matilda Bibbee. Also family of Alfred D. Gilpin, b. 1818, KY; m. Jan. 24, 1838, Jackson Co., WV, Anna Bibbee; a veteran of Civil War.
