Will check for Elias but does not sound familiar. Thomas Gilpin came from Ireland with his wife, Nancy Mullen, to NY;then lived in PA 2-3 yrs., then moved to Adams Co., OH. Their children were Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha, Rachel, George, John, Henry, William, and Thomas. Thomas & Nancy were married bef 1811, coming to the US around 1807-08. Thomas died in 1832 and Nancy in 1870. Names associated with this line are Hull, Heisler, Franz, Chamblin, Shiveley, Kunkler, etc.
