Gilmore, Case Family adoption, orphanage story approximately 1945 - 47

My father's biological parents divorced. His biological mother and stepfather took him and two older brothers with them. They had two girls together. Not soon after they placed all 5 childeren in an orphanage. Once my dad’s biological father and step mother heard the news of this, they drove to the orphanage with intentions of picking all 5 kids up, but the two little girls were adopted before they arrived.
My father’s Biological Father: Aubrey Case
His Step Mother: Bernice (Price) Case

His Biological Mother: Alta Bernice (Vanatta) or (Van Atta) Gilmore
His Temporary Stepfather: Harold Gilmore

Orphanage Location: Either Richmond Indiana or Raleigh Iowa.
Approximate year: 1946-47
Children in birth order oldest to youngest.
Eddie Case
Lowell Case
Clarence Case (my father) Birth date: 9/10/42

Not sure the first names stayed with the two girls, but their original names:

Mary Fay Gilmore
Esther Jane Gilmore

If you have any information, my father would love to talk with them if they are willing. They are both his biological half sisters.
