Hi Matthew

Have not been to the Genealogy Forum for a few months and just received your message. Thank you for the information, this means that my Mary's (McTiernan)first husband, Pat Gilmartin, was your relative. I don't suppose you have any further information concerning that family. I know Mary and Pat Gilmartin had at least two other children, Hugh and Catherine as well as James.

My ancestor (Hugh McTiernan) only every recorded the name of his father, and I managed to discover the name of Mary's mother and brothers. However no luck tracing these relatives either!

It all becomes very difficult doesn't it?
