Looking for any information on a Mary Gilman who was born around 1727 in NH and married a John Bennett of England and later Gilmantown.
I'm related to these Bennetts and have the descendants of this couple through present day if I can validate the union.
I'm of a William Bennett born 1767 Gilmantown who married Lois Flint - in Bridgton,Maine.
Via William's son, William born 1804 in Bridgton who married his cousin Charlotte Bennett of either Freedom of Effingham New Hampshire.
William W. Bennett born 1832 was William Jrs. son and married first Louisa Stevens of Bridgton Maine and 2nd my great great grandmother - Maria Catherine Mussels.
Their daughter Hattie May is my great grandmother and was born in 1880 - she married Burton Howe Edwards born around 1878 and they moved to Michigan.
My grandmother is Alberta Edwards Conklin Garst and first married Cecil Conklin (my grandfather) of Michigan.
I have quite a lot on these lines, but was hoping someone might have more information on the Gilman side to help me prove the marriage that I found referenced in a New England Genealogical and Biographical Sketch of my great granduncle, Joseph Bennett.
