Gilmans in New York and New Jersey in the 1950s

Hi all. I'm looking for any possible information on the Gilmans who would have come into Ellis Island in the early 20th century as a group. There were 2 sisters, Rose and Jenny, and to my knowledge 4 brothers, Charles, Joseph and Henry (my great-grandfather) and another whose name is unsure. Rose was the eldest by several years and the brothers would have all come as children under the age of 16 if the stories told are right. They siblings all settled in New York City or around the Newark, NJ area and lived on into the 1950s at least. The family is from somewhere in Russia allegedly.

My apologies for the sketchy information, but my mother is all that remains of Henry's branch of the family, through Henry's daughter Florence Gilman who married Philip Kaplan around 1950. If anyone knows of any connection to this group of brothers and sisters, please let me know either here or via email at zhlmsd@gmail.com.

Any help is appreciated!
