Richard -
My father, Paul E Gills, has traced our line back to Anthony or Anderson in Amelia County, VA, but that is as far as we've gotten. There is also a man in New York I've been conversing with that is from the same line through John! Looks like we've found a third!?!?! If you're interested, I've found a "Family Name History" based out of Scotland (there's also one from England, but the owner of the company took one look at me and said 'Scotland, girl' - who knows if he knew what he was talking about though). Anyway, I can attach it to an email and send it to you. Just let me know!

I'll gather from my father what he knows and mail it as well this week - maybe other connections can be made...
