Can anyone out there help me in obtaining further infomation on my husbands 3x Great Grand father a Richard Gillings born 4/1/1778 Corton Norfolk UK He married on the 8/11/1802 (confirmed Parish Records) at St Nicholas Church Great Yarmouth UK to Elizabeth Eastoe (Eastaugh)of Seething Norolk He died Corton Great Yarmouth 1838 buried 23/5/1838 Age 60 (As on NBI second edition) Who was his father ?? Was he from corton ?? the info I have is that he was the illigitimate son of Mary Gillings !! was this her maiden name ?? was she living with, but not married to, a Gillings, and took his name. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks Betty
