Dortha,
I am interested in the Georgia Gillilands and the Alabama Gillilands. I know there was a Thomas who settled in Georgia and it seems that he was in KY and NC before coming to Georgia early. He was born when landing from Ireland as I was told by some other researchers and my Elizabeth and Nancy Gilliland are suppose to be his daughters. I have heard that William Gilliland of Fayette County, Georgia was also the father of these two girls.....any help will be appreciated. Perhaps Paul Gilliland will know of this family.
