I am descended from Robert and need help in establishing the lines of his children. I note several postings in this forum regarding these three brothers; perhaps the following will help. A portion of a biography written by James K. Polk Gilliland on Feb. 25, 1904, FYI: Quote. UNQUOTE I'm sure this is "old stuff" to many but its my source to name and location of my ancestor Robert. Hopefully, someone may have already learned the identities of some of these people and can provide me a source for further research.
