Hey I think we're related!

I don't know anything about your great grandmother, Agnes Eliza, but in my family tree I have a William Gillies Born about 1835 at Old Meldrum, Aberdeen, Scotland. He married Mary (nee Fraser), on June 22 1863. Mary was born on April 4, 1835 in Old Meldrum, Aberdeen, Scotland. I know they immigrated to Gainsborough, Saskatchewan somewhere between 1871 and 1902, but not sure of the exact year.

Mary Frasers parents were Thomas Fraser and Mary Booth Forbes.

I noticed you also said William Sr. William and Mary had a son named William Gillies who was born about 1871 in Inverness, Scotland. Married to Lillian (or Lily) Adams, who was born about 1880. That William Jr. was my Great Grandfather and possibly your Great Granmother Agnes' brother?
