Looking for descendants of James Gillies b 1833-37 who originaly came from Ireland, settled in Campbeltown and married a Barbara Johnston(e). From what i can find out he had two children, maybe more. A son James b1865 married a margaret McArthur b1869 and they had nine children. They moved to glasgow in about 1900.
One of their children - Rachel b1899 is my grandmother however dont know what happened to the rest of her siblings etc.
