Rudle or Rudle MIll as it is now called sits about two miles north of Lochgilphead on the road to Oban. It is no longer a mill and is now an antique shop. One of the problems in researching the Gillies's of Glassary is the frequency of the same names. Archibald,Donald,Dougal,Duncan,Malcolm and John are all commonly used this is because the families all stem from the same root.
