Alexander Gillies and Annie Cameron were the parents of my ggg grandmother Catherine Gillies who was christened at Snizort on the Isle of Skye on March 1st 1824. I am seeking siblings of Catherine and perhaps more about her parents. Catherine married Lachlan McKinnon on 1st February 1849 on the Isle of Skye, both coming from the village of Elgol at the time of their marriage. They emigrated to Victoria, Australia in the 1850s. If anyone has a connection with this family I would be most interested to hear from them.
