I am looking for descendants of James Gillies and Ann Murray. Also their son James Gillies who married Jane Walker in 1844 at Montrose. James was a salmon fisherman and he ended his days in Sunnyside Lunatic Asylum, Montrose in 1881. His wife Jane had died in 1877. I only know of two children although I am sure they must have had more. They are my ancestor Jane White Gillies born in 1859 and her brother Charles born about 1845.
