Dear Scott,
I have been doing a family history for sometime now.
My Great-geat-grand-fathers name was an Archibald Gillies from Argyll in Scotland. There is another name that starts with an A also that is a long name. He and his wife immigrated to Australia. I was unaware that any of his descendents immigrated to Canada.
We have been trying to find out information about a Sarah that married a MacDougall that immigrated to Canada from Australia, but we thought her maiden name was MacPherson.
Please let me know what Archibalds wifes name was and the names of their children, then we may proceed from there if they are the same.
