Hi Mary, Great to read you tonight. There has always been some confusion in this Gillies family as to whether my wife's ancestor Ann(e) Gillies was d/o Donald or John (?brother to Donald). Seems fairly certain at this point that my wife's ancestor was not in fact Donald Gillies but John Gillies, who died in quarters soon after arrival. Daryl Lightfoot
